The Amazing Tokyo

I can't believe our week in Tokyo is over. Only seems like yesterday that we landed in this amazing city.

From the architecture to the culture and just the friendly and polite people we have encountered here, it has been a very enjoyable week. Our hostel was great and we met some lovely people there. They also provided us with a free walking tour and geisha evening, and we were very close to the Senzoji Temple.

We have been to the Aikhabara district and seen many electronic and games establishments. We have also had our first experience in a Cat Cafe (quite possibly the favourite part of my day). A day in Shibuya was also an interesting experience. Harajuku Street is quite an unique shopping street with ranging styles and quite a few crepe places. Shibuya also boasts a crossing that is quite epic to watch. The vast amount of people we saw crossing at one time was quite memorising.

We were also lucky enough to see the skyline of Tokyo, albeit, it's dotted with skyscrapers galore but still an impressive sight. We went up the Tokyo Tower and Skytree.

On our last day in Tokyo, we were fortunate enough to go on a Mt Fuji tour. Speaking to people, it's quite rare that you get to see Mt Fuji clearly. Luck must have been on our side as in the morning we got to see Mt Fuji clearly and got some pretty decent photos. Although it was a long day, it was definitely worth the trip.

All in all, Tokyo has been an amazing city that we throughly enjoyed and would love to explore more of Japan one day.
